Scheduled from 9 to 13 September at Boras in Sweden, the Creative Residency coordinated by Nordiska Textilaakademin and reserved to the three Portuguese designers selected by the Municipality of Santo Tirso. Starting from the Textile Fashion Center, headquarters of these 4 intense days, it includes a full agenda of meetings and workshops with designers, creatives and experts in the T&C sector as well as study visits at the local Textilmuseet and interesting companies such as Nelly.com, a leading shareholder in online fashion for fashion and beauty-conscious target, FOV Fabrics that fuses advanced textile functionality with circular sustainability boasting a creative design, cutting-edge R&D and the latest production technologies and Rudholm/Haak, producing garment accessories and providing logistical services for the textile industry..The Boras Creative Residency concludes the cycle of the five organized since last June in each Createx Project partners territories, providing the team of designers, selected for the creation of mini collections inspired by the EU textile heritage, the possibility of deepening technical knowledge, widening their cultural baggage and stimulate new inspirations.
