THE “MAKING OF” STEP OF DESIGNERS COLLECTIONS IS AT ITS PEAK. AT WORK FOR NEXT CREATEX COOL EXHIBITION

About a month before the inauguration of the exhibition that will display the heritage inspired collections debuting in Lodz next December, it is in full swing the “making of” phase about the creation and the development of the innovative projects the 14 Createx designers have proposed, elaborating a different vision of the huge textile and costume archive material offered by the Project through the Heritage Manager database.
From Portugal to Sweden, from Spain and Italy to Poland, they are coming to life silhouettes inspired by Forties patterns and folk culture as well as urban pieces with contemporary cuts (Morini; Cudna; Portell), innovative digital prints for home textiles and interior design objects that recall both traditional costumes and modern textures (Sebastianelli, Bonikowska; Hrokh, Ferreira) outfits with a technological character and sustainable collections together with gowns appealing animal kingdom elements or couture touch (Mendes; Carrara; Ericsson; Johansson) and fashion accessories testing unique printing techniques or jewelery collections that translate graphical elements of nature (Talay, Guennes, Trasserra).
With the support of the local project partners the designers are finishing their collections also defining suitable photo shoots helping to tell their ideas through the publication of a specifically dedicated catalog.
